HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, September 22, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.

In the case of James H. Slater Jr. of Reedville, charged with four counts of distributing/selling Schedule I/II drugs for profit, a trial was set for October 6.
