Northumberland Public Library (NPL) director Jane Blue recently announced special events for August.
A teen escape room will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, August 4, at NPL, 7204 Northumberland Highway, Heathsville. Participants will have to “escape” from a mad scientist’s lab, said Blue. Ages 12-18 are welcome to participate, dinner will be served. No signup necessary.
Free computer classes will be held from 3-5 p.m. every Monday in August. Classes cover all skills from beginner to expert, said Blue. Bring laptops, iPads or phones or use a library laptop. No signup is required and all ages….
