The Northumberland Public Library, 7204 Northumberland Highway, Heathsville, recently announced special events for children during December.
Beginning December 12, “Take and Make Bags” will be available for winter break, reported Pamela Hagy. There are different bags for different ages.
Preschool and elementary school bags will contain three to four crafts, plus coloring and activity pages. For teens, there is a geometric Christmas ornament. There also is a family bag that includes a snowman representing each family member, as well as a game to play together.
