Northumberland Public Library (NPL), 7204 Northumberland Highway, Heathsville, recently announced several special events for May.
The Photos & Fibers exhibit will continue through May 10. Enjoy the artful fabric designs from I Felt Fine design artist Barbara Brecher and the amazing photography from photojournalist Michael Geissinger, said library director Jane Blue.
The Friends of NPL will present History Alive! Holy Graded School at the Turn of the Century 1869-1959 from 5-7 p.m. May 9 at NPL. Guest speaker Garfield Parker will share stories and the history of Holly Graded School, all ages are welcome, said Blue.
The Summer Reading program will begin….
