Northumberland Public Library (NPL), 7204 Northumberland Highway, Heathsville, recently announced a news group for teens will be held the last Friday of every month beginning in September.
The Broadcasting News Group will meet from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Friday, September 27.
“Write and produce your own news right here at the NPL studio,” said library director Jane Blue.
All students ages 12-18 are welcome to participate. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Transportation can be coordinated with the public-school bus system; parents should contact the school directly, said Blue.
Ongoing activities will include:
