Northumberland Public Library (NPL), 7204 Northumberland Highway, Heathsville, will celebrate National Public Library Week April 8-12.
“Stop in and check out our special displays and be sure to say thank you to the library workers on National Library Workers Day April 9th,” said library director Jane Blue.
While visiting the library, purchase a ticket to the annual Friends of NPL English Tea, said Blue. Tickets are $25.
The tea will be held from 3-5 p.m. April 28. The tea will benefit programs sponsored by the Friends of NPL, she said.
