Susan O’Hara Christopher of Wicomico Church recently announced Jamie Marie Wagner of Ruckersville is the current recipient of the O’Hara-Waldo Scholarship.
Wagner is majoring in communications sciences and disorders, reported Christopher. She plans to be a speech and language pathologist. She attended William Monroe High School.
The scholarship was started in memory of Susan Virginia Waldo O’Hara by her husband, Robert G. O’Hara, Christopher’s parents. Her mother-in-law, Louis Glassell Christopher, also was a Longwood student, as was Susan Christopher. All three were teachers in Virginia, she said….
