Creston Saunders smacked a two-run dinger on his second trip to the plate in the Lancaster High School season opener Wednesday, March 13. The Red Devils scored seven runs in the second inning to defeat Christchurch, 10-0.
Lancaster also beat Middlesex, 4-0, on Friday, March 15, for a 2-0 start in varsity baseball.

In the Devils’ second-inning rally against the Seahorses, Toni Thomas drew a walk and Josh Woolard doubled to score two runs before Saunders’ two-out homer bounced off the centerfield light pole.
