Operation Christmas Child
seeks help packing boxes
White Stone Church of the Nazarene, 57 Whisk Drive, White Stone, is the local collection station for Operation Christmas Child in the lower Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula.
Operation Christmas Child is a program developed by Samaritan’s Purse that encourages people to pack shoe boxes with small gifts to distribute to children around the world to help spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Last year, volunteers collected around 1,500 boxes from local churches and individuals, reported Donna Holt.
