LANCASTER—At its February 20 meeting, the Lancaster planning commission held a public workshop to review a proposed ordinance for solar farms in the county and scheduled a March 19 public hearing. That hearing was canceled due to COVID-19, said planning and land use director Brian Barnes.
Staff is still working with stakeholders to craft a workable ordinance; however, public input and a vote by the commission have been postponed, Barnes added.
