Owner will address historic Ditchley’s past, present, future

The past, present, and future of one of the Northern Neck’s historic landmarks, Ditchley in Northumberland Country, will be the focus of an April 29 presentation by owner Cathy Calhoun. The program will begin at 2 p.m. at Shiloh School at Shiloh and Balls Neck Road.

The program will be presented by Northumberland Preservation, Inc., and Shiloh School, reported Bud Ward. Calhoun will offer insights into the historical past of Ditchley and ongoing renovation efforts to the manor house. She also will describe how Ditchley is being used to develop a profitable small scale sustainable agriculture business.
