Historic Roanoke Farm, 6108 Northumberland Highway, Heathsville, will host Oysters & Oldies, the 11th annual Christmas Oyster Roast presented by St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. December 2.
A Virginia Century Farm, Roanoke is owned by A. Mason Brent and has been in the Brent family for more than 160 years.
Oysters & Oldies is St. Stephen’s second largest fundraiser, after the Strawberry Festival and its net proceeds are donated to many local charitable and community organizations, reported event organizer Bill Kirby.
