KILMARNOCK—Paul McElveen Fleming of Kilmarnock, 73, died Thursday, October 6, 2022.
Born in Baltimore, Paul was raised in Washington, D.C.; Heidelberg, Germany; and Camp Zama, Japan. He attended the Collège du Léman in Versoix, Switzerland, Christchurch Episcopal School and Washington and Lee University.
After serving in the U.S. Army for three years, Paul received the Joint Service Commendation Medal for his services in Vietnam.
An interment service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 30, in the Memorial Garden at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Kilmarnock.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Friends of the Library, Rappahannock Community College, 52 College Drive, Warsaw, VA 22572; to the Lancaster Community Library, P.O. Box 850, Kilmarnock, VA 22482; or to Interfaith Service Council, P.O. Box 868, Kilmarnock, VA 22482.
