West Point got all of its 308 yards of offense on the ground with Elijah Adkins grinding out 134 yards and four touchdowns on 21 carries in a 41-12 win over Lancaster last Friday in varsity football.
Adkins scored three times on runs of 16, 6 and 5 yards in the first half to help give the host Pointers a 27-6 lead at the break.
West Point never went to the air but instead ran the ball 52 times.
Lancaster’s Daveon Smith put the air in the ball 12 times and completed four for 29 yards including the Red Devils’ first touchdown in the first quarter when….
