Richard Smith will offer a special
tribute to the late Toby Keith.
Virginia’s Li’l Ole Opry on Saturday, August 24, will pay tribute to the 80s and 90s. This Prime Country show is back and will be staged at the Harry M. Ward Auditorium, Mathews High School, 9889 Buckley Hall Road, Mathews. Doors will open at 7 p.m., the show will start at 7:30 p.m.
“These two decades truly had some of the best artists and songs in country music history,” said president Lynda Smith.
Audiences will hear great music from stars of that era, including Martina McBride, Travis Tritt, Wynonna, George Strait, Brooks and Dunn, Garth Brooks and Vince Gill, as well as a mini tribute to the late, great Toby Keith.
