LANCASTER—The Lancaster board of supervisors is expected to adopt a proposed $18,146,340 school budget following a public hearing on Thursday, March 30. By law, the board must wait at least seven days after a public hearing before taking action. The board will hold an adoption session at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 13.
As proposed, the school budget for fiscal year 2023-24 includes $11,990,307 in local funding. Superintendent Jessica Davis said the budget would ensure staff will receive a minimum of $15 per hour along with an across-the-board 5% pay raise.
