The Lancaster Middle School (LMS) PTA will hold Family Fun Night from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, October 29, at LMS, 191 School Street, Kilmarnock.
“This year LMS PTA is asking for any individuals who have a connection to LMS to join them for Family Fun Night,” said art teacher Marilyn Sprouse. “This year the event is huge with every teaching team hosting a game or activity perfect for all ages.”
Families may play Kahoot, Monster Ball Toss and cornhole, said Sprouse. Win prizes. Run around playing a game in the gym or move and groove with Go Noodle and the fifth grade teachers.
Mingle with the LMS teaching family and paint a rock with a kind message, quote, or picture to become part of an outdoor art installation, “Kindness River,” sponsored by a grant from the Lancaster County Virginia Education Foundation. Painting a detailed rock neatly takes from 30 minutes up to two hours, she said.
There also will be an opportunity to vote on how PTA should spend fundraising dollars, said Sprouse.
