
Since 2022, Cat Cove Inc. (CCI) has been fostering cats and kittens as they await new homes.
Ginger Tinsley began the organization by fostering in her home and later added an addition which offers specialized space to prepare community cats for adoption, reported CCI secretary Cheryl Stead.
As of the end of last year, CCI has helped 1100 cats and has become the Northern Neck’s largest, home-based feline foster care organization. With the help of dedicated volunteers, Tinsley is building a true respite for community cats as they await eventual adoption, said Stead.
However, this work is expensive and labor-intensive, she said. The Purr-fect Game Day on March 28 will help to raise much-needed funds for CCI to continue its….
