Works by Brenda Sylvia and Johnny Hayes are featured this month in the window gallery of the RAL Art Center, 19 North Main Street, Kilmarnock.
Painting on location is an integral part of Brenda Sylvia’s work, reported Ellen Huddy of the RAL communications team. Sylvia finds energy in the dynamic beauty of nature and portrays this with vibrant layers of colorful acrylic paints.
Hayes also favors acrylics and enjoys doing still life settings, landscapes and figurative work in a more abstract form, creating a casual, contemporary and expressive style, said Huddy.
