NEWPORT NEWS—Randolph Marshall Mason, 66, died Friday, March 4, 2022. He was born in Richmond.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Randolph and Ann (Towers) Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Susan (Burger); children, Rebekah of Newport News, James of Richmond, Timothy of Harrisonburg, Elizabeth (Lizzie) of Newport News; and his sister, Susan Sanders of Irvington.
Marshall graduated from York Academy in Shacklefords and later graduated from University of Baltimore, Columbia International University and Southeastern Seminary.
He has worked as a CPA, a pastor, CDL driver and served in the Air National Guard. He pastored at Ivy Farms Baptist Church in Newport News and South Beltline Baptist in South Carolina.
Marshall was a member of Menchville Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 19, at Menchville Baptist Church, Newport News. A celebration of life service will follow at 11 a.m. with pastor Jim Weston officiating.
W. J. Smith & Son Funeral Home of Newport News handled the arrangements.
