Rappahannock River Waterfowl Show will be held March 18-19

The Virginia Waterfowlers’ Association will have paint-a-decoy activities for ages six and older.

The Rappahannock River Waterfowl Show (RRWS) will fill the White Stone Firehouse March 18-19 with original paintings, decorative carvings, gunning style decoys, folk art style carvings, prints, photography and bronze sculptures.

The Artist of the Year is Jim Wilson of Yorktown. Color copies of his original painting of a Kingfisher will be given to all show visitors during the weekend, reported coordinator Pat Bruce.

The weekend door prize is an original carving by Vernon Bryant of Perryville, Md. The Preview Night door prize is an original carving by . . . .
