Rappahannock beat Lancaster twice in three days in varsity soccer last week but the second match nearly had a different outcome.
The Raiders blanked the Red Devils, 6-0, at LHS last Wednesday. They held Lancaster to eight shots on goal, including six by Stewart Hollingsworth and two by Michael Foulkes. They gave a workout to LHS goalkeeper Damont Maiden, who had 18 saves.
The Devils, however, came to play on Friday when they went to Warsaw. Rappahannock had to pull off some late-game scoring….
