The Friends of Belle Isle State Park will host Rapp River Run II on October 7.
The run, a 5K for runners or walkers, will begin at 9 a.m., check-in and last-minute registration will begin at 8:30 a.m.
The certified 5K course, over some of the most beautiful parts of Belle Isle State Park, is in great shape and is looking forward to your happy feet, reported president Frances Callaghan.
Registration is $30 for adults and $15 for those younger than 18. All participants will receive a thank-you gift for their efforts. Registration is open at www.RunSignup.com/Race/VA/Lancaster/RappRiverRun, or visit www.belleislestateparkfriends.org.
