The Christchurch School 8-man football team is celebrating its first year with decisive victories and is undefeated with a 3-0 record in the Virginia Independent School Football League (VISFL).
The Seahorses opened the season with wins over Broadwater Academy, 50-12, and Greenbrier Christian, 48-7. Christchurch beat defending champion Covenant School, 48-42, reported communications assistant Jennifer Homer. A fourth game, against Blessed Sacrament Huguenot, was called early due to storms.
