
The Rappahannock Community College (RCC) local college board met September 20.
The local college board is a community advisory body and liaison among the State Board for Community Colleges, the Virginia Community College System administration and RCC’s administration, reported media services manager Michele Inderrieden. The local board makes recommendations regarding state and local funds budgets and long-range planning and curriculum.
The local board includes a representative from each county in RCC’s service region. Jamie Tucker, representing Northumberland, is the board chairman and Stanley Clarke, representing Essex, is vice chairman. Other members are Donald Sandridge, Gloucester; Carol Holmes, King and Queen; Dr. Ann Bueche, King George; Dr. Andrea Perseghin, King William; Cassie Thompson, Lancaster; Judith Rowe, Mathews; Kevin Gentry, Middlesex; Debbie Richards, New Kent; Richard Gouldin Jr., Richmond; and Victoria Roberson, Westmoreland.
