LIVELY—Rebecca Taft Lewis Conrad, 92, of Lively went to be with her Lord July 15, 2022.
She was born October 7, 1929, to John and Daisy Taft. She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Cleveland Lewis Sr. and Emile J. Conrad; her brothers, Oldham Taft and John W. Taft; and her sisters, Ethel Dilday, Vera Harding and Madeline Coates.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda L. Davis (Wilson) of Lancaster; son, William C. “Billy” Lewis (Patricia) of Lively; grandchildren, Wayne George (Hope) of Chesterfield, Jeremy Lewis of Lively, Joshua Lewis of Williamsburg and Daphne George of Virginia Beach; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Rebecca retired from the U. S. Postal Service and was a member of Corrottoman Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at 2 p m. Tuesday, July 19, at Corrottoman Baptist Church, Ottoman. Interment followed the service at Corrottoman Baptist Cemetery. Family received friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
