LIVELY—Rebecca Taft Lewis Conrad, 92, of Lively went to be with her Lord July 15, 2022.
She was born October 7, 1929, to John and Daisy Taft. She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Cleveland Lewis Sr. and Emile J. Conrad; her brothers, Oldham Taft and John W. Taft; and her sisters, Ethel Dilday, Vera Harding and Madeline Coates.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda L. Davis (Wilson) of Lancaster; son, William C. “Billy” Lewis (Patricia) of Lively; grandchildren, Wayne George (Hope) of Chesterfield, Jeremy Lewis of Lively, Joshua Lewis of Williamsburg and Daphne George of Virginia Beach; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Rebecca retired from the U. S. Postal Service and was a member of Corrottoman Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p m. Tuesday, July 19, at Corrottoman Baptist Church, Ottoman. Interment will follow the service at Corrottoman Baptist Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Corrottoman Baptist Church, 48 Ottoman Ferry Road, Lancaster, VA 22503.
