Red Devils burn Chargers, 26-0

Lancaster High School stifled the Middlesex offense last Friday, holding the homestanding Chargers to a mere 37 yards of total offense in a 26-0 shutout as the Red Devils improved to 2-1.

Lancaster ran through the Middlesex defense for 329 yards on the ground. Daveon Smith led the charge with 18 carries and an impressive 204 yards.

After a scoreless first quarter, Smith connected with Brooks Parker on an 18-yard scoring pass with 5:27 left in the half. The PAT kick was blocked. But the Devils took a two-touchdown lead into the half after….
