Red Devils crank up the heat

The Lancaster High School Red Devils improved to 14-1 overall and remain unbeaten in the Northern Neck District at 5-0 after picking up wins over Essex and Colonial Beach.

The Devils got 13 points from Troy Henderson and 10 from Branndonn Wade in the first half Monday, January 31, and rode a 20-point halftime lead to a 79-56 win over Essex.

Henderson drilled five three pointers in the game to finish with 22 points to lead all scorers. He did all of his work in the first three quarters.

Wade scored 13, Jeremy Smith finished with 12 and Tyson Henderson had 11.
