Red Devils place third in district soccer, regional tournament will open on May 25

Intense play in the second half of a Middlesex-Lancaster varsity soccer match last Friday resulted in a barrage of scoring and infractions. Along with six second-half goals, there were three red cards and seven yellow cards issued in the 6-3 Charger win. 

Following a yellow in the first half, when the Middlesex goalkeeper took down Porter Pittman in the box, the Red Devils scored a lone first half goal.

The Chargers were up 2-0 when Pittman scored on the resulting penalty kick with seven minutes to go in the first half. Middlesex came out of the break to take a 3-1 lead two minutes into….
