The varsity Red Devils ended the season with a seven-run win over neighboring Northumberland to secure their third place position in the Northern Neck District rankings. Lancaster was scheduled to play second place Rappahannock in the semifinals of the district baseball tournament May 17.
Region 1A tournament play will begin May 25. Lancaster is ranked fourth in the region.
The Devils ended regular season play with a 10-3 win over Northumberland May 10 and an 11-0 mercy-rule win over Westmoreland on May 9.
