Red Devils roll over Indians in soccer, 5-4

Michael Foulkes scored with two minutes remaining in the second overtime period to break a regulation tie and lift Lancaster over Northumberland, 5-4, last Friday in a varsity soccer match in Claraville.

It was the first time in four years the Red Devils beat the Indians in a match of the two Northern Neck District rivals. The win was Lancaster’s first in district play and  the second of the season.

The Devils took a 2-0 lead in the first seven minutes. Andrew Fulmer scored the first goal on a pass from Ewan Scott and he and Destin Henderson combined for the second. Fulmer took the shot and….
