Lancaster went 1-2 against some Group 3A and 4A schools during a three-day tournament in Fredericksburg over the holiday break.
The varsity Red Devils beat Manassas Park but lost to Stonewall Jackson and Freedom during the James Monroe Holiday Basketball Festival December 27 through 29. The host Yellow Jackets won their own eight-team tournament.
Lancaster’s Martez Davis, who scored 70 points in the three games, was named to the all-tournament team.
Davis scored a game-high 27 points to lead Lancaster in a 78-66 win over Manassas Park in the Devils’ final game of the tournament….
