Rappahannock High School scored six times in the first quarter to take a 41-0 lead en route to a 69-6 win over Lancaster in the Raiders’ homecoming game last Friday.
Rappahannock amassed 467 yards with 280 passing, including five touchdown tosses by K.J. Gaines, while handing Lancaster its seventh straight loss of the season.
The Red Devils, 0-7 overall and 0-2 in the Northern Neck District, will host Essex for homecoming tomorrow, October 25. Essex is 6-1 overall and 2-0 in the district after coming off a 32-12 win over Colonial Beach last week.
The Devils gained 109 total yards offense with 71 coming on the ground and 38 in the air.
Cameron Towles scored a TD for Lancaster on a 10-yard run with 2:49 to play.
