Brendan Walker struck out 10, walked six and gave up only two hits in six and two-third innings for the Red Devils in a 6-4 win over host Rappahannock High School in varsity baseball last Thursday.
Lancaster also picked up a 7-6 win over Northumberland last week to improve to 2-2 overall.
“Brendan pitched an awesome game, showing great leadership on the mound,” said LHS coach Welby Saunders. “He got ahead of the Rappahannock hitters and kept them off balance.”
