Reed W. Tripp

PITTSBURG, PA—Reed W. Tripp, 53, died peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2016, in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Reed was born in Richmond and moved to Reedville when he was young where he attended and graduated from Northumberland County Public Schools. Reed joined the U.S. Air Force in 1986 and served as a medic while based in Delaware and Illinois.  After serving, Reed lived in Myrtle Beach, S.C., Pittsburgh, Williamsburg and St. Thomas, VI.

Reed is survived by his wife, Paula (Soltis) Tripp; his sons, Christopher, Justin, and Michael Tripp; his father Harold (Nancy) Tripp; his siblings, Barbara, Terry, Larry, Michelle and Jerry; five nephews and three nieces.

He is preceded in death by his mother, the late Norma Tripp.

His passing has left a deep hole in the hearts of his family and friends.

A memorial service followed by a reception for friends and family will be held at 11 a.m. December 10 at Coan Baptist Church, 2068 Coan Stage Road, Heathsville, VA 22473.
