Rev. Lee Scripture to receive VHSL award

Region 1A chairman Mike Myers and Northumberland High School (NHS) principal Dr. Travis Burns will present the Virginia High School League (VHSL)  2019-20 Regional Award of Merit from Region 1A to Rev. Lee Scripture at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 2, at NHS. 

Rev. Scripture is being honored for his lifelong contributions to the VHSL and specifically NHS, said Myers.
