RFA’s 2021 concert season delayed

The visual arts, music, theater and dance communities have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic as the Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts can attest.

The 2019-20 season was cut short when the Celtic group, Leahy, was canceled, and Face 2 Face—scheduled for April 2020—was also canceled. Both groups were rescheduled to perform for the avid RFA audience in the first half of 2021.

“It is apparent now, in the beginning of 2021, that the pandemic’s effect on performers and audiences alike will persist,” said RFA board president Jamie Tucker. “Unfortunately, the start of the 27th season, ‘Laughter to Legendary,’ will be delayed until September 2021.”
