RGH to unveil new scanner August 22

Bon Secours Rappahannock General Hospital (RGH), 101 Harris Road, Kilmarnock, invites the community to an open house from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, August 22, to tour a newly renovated suite outfitted with a GE Revolution Ascend Computed Tomography (CT) scanner.

The new CT reflects a one-time $1.8 million investment by Bon Secours in new diagnostic equipment this year.

“This new CT scanner will allow RGH to provide state-of-the-art imaging to our patients, right here in the Northern Neck. Beyond traditional CT imaging such as chest, abdomen and pelvis applications, applications for this technology also include stroke detection, low dose lung screening and cardiac….
