Rhodes places third in shot put at Adidas Track Nationals 2023

Lancaster High School junior Reece Rhodes just keeps getting better.

After putting the shot 55’0.5” as the Region 2 champion and finishing as the state Class 1/2 runner-up, Rhodes had a personal best 56’04.50” to finish third among 27 males in the championship boys shot put finals at the Adidas Track Nationals 2023 in Virginia Beach on Sunday, March 19.

Competitors must have put the shot 52’ in a previous meet to qualify for the championship event, which had athletes from across the country in all school division sizes competing….
