Cohen Keyser hit a two-run single to give Rappahannock High School the lead for good in the top of the sixth Wednesday, April 27, to hand Lancaster just its third loss of the season in varsity baseball.
Rappahannock had scored one run on a two-out single in the top of the fourth then pulled away with Keyser’s grounder for a 3-2 win.
Northumberland High School edged the Red Devils, 7-6, in extra innings Monday, April 25, to put Lancaster at 10-3 overall and 3-2 in the Northern Neck District.
Against the Raiders, Lancaster scored two in the bottom….
