The Rappahannock High School girls and boys cross country teams both claimed trophies at the Northern Neck District meet at Hills Quarter on Wednesday, October 22.
Wren Gladwell of Rappahannock ran the 3.1-mile course in 25:14 as the individual medalist in the girls race and Diago Diaz of Westmoreland paced the pack of 20 boys with a time of 19:43 as the individual medalist in that race.
Rappahannock had four of its female runners finish among the top five to score a team low 17 points for the district championship. The Raiders boys team, led by individual runner-up Chris Wallace, scored a team low 20 to take the district title.
