TOPPING—Richard Beckton “Beck” Hill, 46, of Topping died on Wednesday, September 5, 2018.
He was a caregiver, waiter and artist. A graduate of Lynchburg College, he was studying to become a minister of the Church of the Nazarene. He held local and district ministry licenses and was working on his world ordination.
Beck was an active member and connections pastor at White Stone Church of the Nazarene.
Beck was predeceased by grandparents Roland Braxton Hill, Barbara Hill, Murrell Beckton Collins and Cornelia Collins; as well as by his father, Allen Bryan Hill.
He is survived by his mother, Cornelia Collins Robertson; stepfather, John Robertson; and stepsisters, Christen Robertson Denton and Lauren Robertson.
There will be a celebration of life service at 6 p.m. Monday, September 17, at White Stone Church of the Nazarene, 57 Whisk Drive, White Stone.
