Susan Moenssens Rogers was named second runner-up in the Ms Virginia Senior America Pageant held in Falls Church on July 7, among fiercely competitive and highly talented contestants all of whom have reached the “age of elegance.”
Rogers played “Ebbtide” on the piano as her talent, reported Ms Virginia Senior America Pageant. She was interviewed by three judges, competed in a powder blue evening gown and gave her philosophy of life. She appeared in the opening number of the pageant in a choreographed dance with the other contestants to Sister Sledge’s “We Are Family.”
Rogers is an attorney specializing in elder law, a real estate agent and the owner of Flowering Fields B & B in White Stone. She is married to Wayne Rogers.
