The Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury Amateur Radio Club (N4RWC) will host an open house August 13 featuring information about amateur radio and displays of radio equipment.
Hours will be 10 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m. at the RWC Life Enrichment Center, 132 Lancaster Drive, Irvington.
The RWC Amateur Radio Club is believed to be the only amateur radio club hosted by a continuing care retirement community in Virginia. The club was established in October of 2017 with the encouragement of RWC resident Jeff Walker (W3JW).
