Sam Reider and The Human Hands: New music from old souls

When The Human Hands, all of them stars in the worlds of bluegrass, jazz and acoustic music, join Latin Grammy-nominated pianist, accordionist and composer Sam Reider “On Stage” May 18 at the Lancaster Elementary School Theater, 191 School Street, Kilmarnock, the music promises to be unplugged—and electrifying.

“Since they released their debut record, ‘Too Hot to Sleep’ in 2018, The Human Hands have been touring throughout the U.S., U.K. and Europe,” said Jamie Tucker, board president of the Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts (RFA), which is hosting the On Stage performance.

“We’ll hear some of their earlier numbers, but we’re also being treated to several from their newest….
