“A Fish Story, How Chesapeake Bay Built The Northern Neck,” will premiere Wednesday, May 15, at the Compass Entertainment Complex, 100 Entertainment Drive, Irvington.
The documentary will repeat on May 20. Show times are 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., said Kilmarnock Museum president Carroll Lee Ashburn.
Promoted by the Kilmarnock Museum and created and produced by 26th Street Media of Richmond, the hour-long documentary tells the story of the menhaden fishing industry and touches on women who work on the water and the oyster wars, said Ashburn.
