Lancaster primary and middle school children and primary students from Chesapeake Academy recently attended performances of the Roanoke Children’s Theatre Company’s “School House Rock Live!” at the Lancaster Middle School Theater. The show was the final performance in The Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts 2018-19 Arts for Youth series, reported Lucy Schneider.
School House Rock Live! is derived from the Saturday morning cartoon that taught kids history, grammar and math. The program debuted in the late 70s and ran off and on though 2005, under several different productions.
