The Northumberland Family YMCA-sponsored swimming program for Northumberland Elementary School second graders wrapped up two weeks of swimming lessons on Friday, March 27.
The voluntary Learn to Swim program—known locally as “School-to-Pool”—is offered by area YMCA branches to familiarize youngsters with basic water safety and help build their confidence in and around the water.
