The last Heathsville Farmers Market of the 2017 season will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, October 21, at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville.
The public is invited to bring their pets for a “Blessing of the Animals” ceremony at 10 a.m., courtesy of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, said manager Corinne Becker.
Youth are invited to decorate pumpkins, said Becker. Prizes will be awarded. Pumpkins will be donated by Garners Produce of Warsaw.
The Northumberland Public Library will bring their new Tech Mobile. Tour the inside of this new bookmobile/mobile internet hot-spot, which is soon to serve Northumberland County, said Becker.
